21.1 Open Beta Release!

A game-changing week of Infinite Flight Over the past seven days, we have gotten to experience a virtually new Infinite Flight. Join me in this week’s edition as we reflect on what’s new! 21.1 Open Beta Once again, the staff could overwhelm the community with happiness by deciding to make an Open Beta Period for 2021’s first update. I cannot help myself but mention that I have taken advantage of being a beta tester for this update like many others, and wow… If you haven’t been able to participate in the beta, I can assure you that it will be well worth the wait. The work Infinite Flight’s staff team has put into developing the beautiful 3D terminals and buildings at Airports like JFK, DCA, and DEN will forever be a milestone in Infinite Flight’s history. So What Else? Among other things, the Open Beta unmasked some of the features that were not previously announced to be coming in the update. This includes Many New Liveries, B787 Gear Tilt, and B747 Gear Tilt. Later in the week, Community Favorite staff member Laura posted an Image of testing Using 3D buildings in cities. Please note that it was only a test, and nothing has been confirmed for now. This does open the door to what else might come, given Infinite Flight’s New ability to handle things such as buildings and clouds. Overall though, this was a pretty iconic week for a celebration of 10 years with Infinite Flight. Being someone who first flew on IF in early 2014, the improvement has been unbelievable, and I cannot wait for what’s next in the coming years… What about you?
